ニコニコ動画では多くの、テレビアニメなどのMAD動画が存在します。
それらは、著作権の問題からだと違法な動画になってしまいます。
ニコニコ動画からMADなどのテレビ番組の無断投稿は全削除するという申し入れをテレビ局各局に提出したそうです。
しかし、私個人的にはこの申し入れには賛同できません。
たしかに著作権を侵害しているのは問題です。しかし、MAD動画は現在のニコニコ動画を支えるコンテンツの一つだと思います。
テレビ番組をそっくりそのまま投稿する行為は、問題かもしれませんがこの背景にはお金がからんでいると思うのです。
私が個人的に考えていることなので、真意は分かりませんが、テレビ局はアニメを放映するが近年の少子化によるアニメ人口の減少。それにともない、広告収入が減少するので、各局ともDVDなどの製品で売上を確保するしかない。
しかし、DVDを販売しようにもネット上に動画が配信されていると販売も伸び悩む。と言うような理由が考えられるのです。
しかし、それではますますアニメ人口が減少する一途だと思うのです。
今や大人でもアニメを見ることはめずらしくありません。しかし、大人になった今、アニメが放送されている時間に帰宅しているということは難しいと思うのです。
録画という方法があるのですが、録画するまでもない。録画をしても、録り貯めしすぎて全部見る時間がない。自然とアニメから離れていくということもあるのではないでしょうか。
また、MAD動画についてですが、MAD動画の中でも「神MAD」と呼ばれるものには、原作アニメに対して全く違うアニメの曲か邦楽・洋楽が使われています。
そのMADを見た人は、元々はアニメが好きでみる人が多いと思うんですが、MADを見て曲が気に入って購入するということもありえると思います。
現に、MAD動画に対するニコニコ市場では曲の購入が結構あります。
他にも、ニュースなどの動画が投稿されていることがありますが、これはかなり重要なことだと思います。
もともと、ニュースというものは事件・事故などに対してテレビ局のキャスターが当たり障りのないコメントを残して、終わってしまいます。視聴者は傍観者でしかありません。
その、ニュースの動画をニコニコに投稿することで、ニュースを見てない人に対して認知してもらうきっかけになると思うのです。そして、そのニュースに対してコメントを残す。
視聴者は見る側から、問題を一緒に考える側に回れるのです。そして、不特定多数と意見の交換ができる。これは、テレビ局側としても喜ぶべきところではないでしょうか？
私は、ここ数年ゆっくりとテレビを見ることはありません。
一日1時間もテレビの前に座ることがないので、世間時事にはまったく疎いです。
インターネットという場所から提供されるニュースは24時間いつでも見れるので、そちらから情報を入手しています。
今回のニワンゴの行動によって、ニコニコ動画が衰退していくことがなければいいのですが。
