過去にも、キン肉マンやシティーハンターの冴羽獠、北斗の拳のケンシロウなど、だれもが聞いたことがある役ばかりやっている名声優。
今回の降板理由について、具体的には分かっていないが、自身のブログで発表している。
長年続いているアニメには、声優の交代はあることだが、やはり最初は違和感があるだろう。
