2009年6月27日に公開され、テレビ版の惣流・アスカ・ラングレーが式波・アスカ・ラングレーに名前を変更して、さらに新キャラ真希波・マリ・イラストリアスまで登場したことなどが話題を集めヒットした映画「ヱヴァンゲリヲン新劇場版：破」が、とうとうBlu-rayおよびDVDで発売されるそうです。
気になる発売日は2010年5月26日に発売されるそうです。価格はBlu-ray版が6090円でDVD版が5985円（いずれも税込）。
収録される本編は劇場上映の「2.0」バージョンから、再調整をかけたデジタルマスター版「2.22」バージョンになるとのこと。
また、Blu-ray版、DVD版ともに装丁は特殊BOX付デジパック仕様で、解説ブックレットが付属するほか、映像特典として2.22バージョンのアフレコ台本や劇場版特報、予告編、テレビスポットなどが収録予定。さらに初回生産分特典として劇場上映生フィルムコマが付属するとされています。今回も、前回の序同様、生フィルムコマがオークションで高値で取引されるんでしょうか。
