「モンスターハンターポータブル」シリーズは、2005年より発売されているPSP用ハンティングアクションの人気シリーズ。 本作では多くの新モンスターが登場するほか、新たなフィールドも追加、シングルプレイ時には、オトモアイルーをクエストに2匹同時に連れて行けるようになるなどの、多くの新要素が入っているらしい。
ちなみに、12月1日の発売タイトルにはアマガミの新作がPS2とPSP版が発売されるらしい。 私としては、こちらのほうも気になる
